Join our Jack the Ripper audio tour and walk through old London streets. We tell stories about a mystery from long ago. Here’s what you’ll see:
We start on Gunthorpe Street, a quiet road. Then, we go to Flower and Dean Walk and Osborn Street, where old houses used to be. Next is Brick Lane, a busy street even back then.
Stop by the Frying Pan Pub, an important place in this mystery. Walking through these streets, you’ll feel like you’re in old times. See Old Mortuary Street and Durward Street, where spooky stories happened.
Look at the Old Board School, Working Lads Institute, and Wood’s Building entrance. Each place has its own scary story. 29 Hanbury Street is another spot where something happened. Wilkes Street and Fournier Street lead you to Ten Bells Spitalfields Pub, a very old pub, and Spitalfields Market, a place where people used to shop.
Take a little break at the Queens Head Pub and Princess Alice Pub. Then, see Henriques Street, where we’ll tell you about Catherine Eddowes. Walk down Saint James’s Passage and go to Mitre Square for more stories.
Next is The Workhouse, an old poorhouse. Then, see 13 Millers Court, where something sad happened to Mary Jane Kelly. End the tour at the White Hart Pub, a place full of secrets.
Our guide will take you on this tour and tell you all about Jack the Ripper in simple, easy-to-understand words.
